We provide the best in loving, high quality, affordable veterinary care for dogs, cats, small animals and exotic species. Our clients' pets often feel like we are their 'home away from home'. Arbor Creek Animal Hospital's staff is passionate about helping you maintain optimum health for your pets (we are animal owners/lovers too!).
Every pet has different needs. They have different lifestyles, health concerns, personalities and owners. We believe that getting to know you and your pet and creating a wellness plan that meets your individual needs is the only way to go. We offer an integrative approach; utilizing traditional medicine and vaccines, nutrition along with holistic medicine such as Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy. Options are a good thing!

So Many Veterinarians… How Do I Choose The Right One? Why Are Prices Different From One Place To Another?
Choose a veterinarian that has the same thoughts as you. Ask questions. Do they have hours that meet your needs? Do they offer the services you desire? Is the office clean and comfortable? Does the veterinarian stay current on new procedures and go to continuing education on a regular basis? Is the staff helpful and knowledgeable? Ask and expect more of your veterinarian than you do of your own Doctor! Veterinarians have to be able to figure out what is going on with a pet without the pet being able to tell them. They also have to stay current on many medical issues that relate to many different species, including humans.
Pricing for veterinary services can vary greatly. Surgical prices can be one of the most varied. Ask what is included in a surgical procedures pricing. Pre Surgical exam? Catheter placement and I.V. fluids? Anesthesia and monitoring? Pain medicine? Is the suture a high quality suture that won’t cause extra skin irritation? Is the pet given pain medicine prior to the surgery so it is not in pain when it wakes up from the anesthesia?
Ask questions and make an informed decision about your pet’s healthcare. A long lasting relationship with your veterinarian and veterinary team can make pet ownership a much more rewarding experience.
