We opened our doors on April 14th 2006. We knew that it would be a long road to get started and that it would take a lot of work to earn our client’s trust. Think of diseases like a tree.  It sounds funny at first, but it is a metaphor that I learned to use when studying Traditional Chinese Medicine.  If you take any medical problem, this metaphor can apply.  Looking at things this way will allow you to think about the issue a little deeper than you would have otherwise and will pose the question, “Is this medicine or treatment going to fix the problem or just mask the signs and symptoms?”  Think about this the next time you take your pet to the veterinarian.  What are they doing that is going to get to the root of the problem?
